Re: Jabber for MAC - 11.9.3 - AutoUpdate via MRA fails the HTTPS allow is already there, and the same host location is in use for both MAC and Win clients. It has to be something the Expressway c/e is doing to the URL for mac's specifically. Download Cisco Jabber or Cisco Jabber VDI. Also available on Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Macintosh Computers
- If you do not already have Jabber installed on your machine, please contact your local IT Support or Tech Central.
- Local IT Support or Tech Central will provide the Jabber installer. You can also click the image below to download the installer file.
- Double click the installer package. Click through the installer program, selecting the local hard drive for destination.
- Open Cisco Jabber application
- TheJabber application will prompt for login:
- Enter your Pepperdine email address in its entirety and click 'Continue':
- The Jabber client will locate and populate the server information:
- Please enter your network username and password and click 'Sign In'. If you are off campus, your email address is displayed in the name field. You must change this to your network userid.:
- Once authenticated, the Jabber client will open up to the following window with Phone, IM, and voicemail access.
* If you are prompted with an invalid voicemail service credential, please click 'Cancel'. Voicemails are delivered via email using Google Gmail.
Windows Computers
- If you do not already have Jabber installed on your machine, please contact your Local IT Support or Help Desk for more information. Otherwise:
- The Jabber installer will be provided by the Local IT Support or Help Desk. You can also click the image below to download the installer file:
- Install Jabber with the standard windows installation wizard, clicking next all the way through:
- When the installation is finished, launch the Jabber application by double-clicking the desktop icon:
- Enter your full Pepperdine email address and click 'Continue':
[email protected] - The following dialogue box will appear. Do not change the user account, instead enter your windows (AD) password.
- Your installation of Jabber is complete.
Note: Please disregard message to update the Voicemail credentials. Voicemails are delivered through your Pepperdine Gmail account and can be ignored.

Cisco Jabber App For Mac
Jabber lets you connect and collaborate with your Stanford colleagues through a variety of communication channels using your computer.
System requirements
- Apple OS X El Capitan 10.11 (or later)
Installation
- Download Cisco Jabber for Mac.
- Double-click the downloaded file from your browser and then double-click the Install_Cisco-Jabber-Mac.sparkle_guided.pkg file to start the Cisco Jabber installer wizard.
- When the Welcome screen displays, click Continue.
- Read the license agreement if you wish and then click Continue. Click Agree to accept the terms of the license agreement and continue with the installation.
- You may be prompted to select the disk where you want to install Jabber. Select your hard drive and then click Continue.
- Click Install to perform the standard installation.
- At the prompt, enter your administrator account password for the Mac and click Install Software.
- When the software has finished installing, click Close.
Sign in
- To launch Jabber, open your Applications folder and double-click the Cisco Jabber.app icon.
- Enter your sunetid@stanford (for University affiliates), [email protected] (for SHC affiliates), or your login [email protected] (SCH affiliates) and click Continue.
- For Stanford University affiliates, the WebLogin screen appears. Enter your SUNet ID and your SUNet ID password and click Login. Two-step authentication may also be required. Stanford Children's Health and Stanford Health Care affiliates will be prompted to enter their password.
Sign out
Cisco Jabber 11.5 Download
- Click Jabber in the Apple menu bar and then click Sign Out.
